With a turnover of £200 million and a team of Engineers spanning 3 manufacturing sites they are trusted manufacturers of global flavours with a passion for food and quality produce at the heart of everything they do.With a significant investment and huge amounts of organic sales growth currently happening this is a fantastic time to join their company.The role of Maintenance Supervisor will function in two parts as both a hands on electrically biased Maintenance Engineer and as a support system for the Head of Engineering therefore experience leading Maintenance Engineers is important.What you'll be doingAs Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be working across 2 manufacturing sites (within 5 miles of each other) you'll be responsible for supporting the Head of Engineer with leadership, direction and technical oversight for engineering teams across manufacturing sites.As this is both a hands-on and supervisory role, strong electrical maintenance skills are a prerequisite .Responsibilities will include;Support, mentor, and develop site engineering and apprentices. (currently 2 Engineers + 1 Apprentice)Establish and maintain engineering standards, procedures, and best practices across both sites.Drive a proactive engineering culture focused on safety, reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.Help to develop competency frameworks for engineering personnel.Support site leadership teams in delivering business objectives, and engineering KPIs.Provide engineering support and strategic guidance to site management teams.Ensure engineering resources are effectively deployed across sites to support operational requirements.Technical skills required PLC fault finding experience with solid electrical fault finding and LOTO experienceWhat we're looking forThe successful Maintenance Supervisor will need to have;Level 3 in Engineering or equivalentBe a strong communicator and work well under time constraints/pressurePrevious experience of managing and leading a team of Engineers within a maintenance functionStrong fault-finding skills on automated machineryIdeally food backgroundDesire to move into more Senior Management role would be beneficialWhat's on offerIn return for this Maintenance Supervisor role, our client are offering the following;£60k4% contributory pension33 days holidayCareer progression opportunitiesWhy join us?The site is continuing to invest and expand their Maintenance team and this role could very easily progress into a more senior Management role – if this is something you can see for yourself going forward then please send a copy of your CV to or call on .ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
