Fire & Security Service Engineer

Join a growing team working across social housing and commercial sites, delivering high-quality service on a range of systems including fire alarms, access control, door entry, and security systems.

This is a hands-on role where no two days are the sameperfect for an experienced engineer who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and working independently.

\n

What youll be doing:

\n
    \n
  • Carrying out reactive repairs, servicing, and planned maintenance (PPM)
  • \n
  • Fault-finding and fixing fire alarms, access control & door entry systems
  • \n
  • Completing installations, inspections, and system testing
  • \n
  • Logging jobs accurately using CASH and providing clear reports
  • \n
  • Supporting compliance with BS5839 and health & safety standards
  • \n
  • Participating in on-call rota and occasional overtime
  • \n
  • Delivering excellent service across multiple client sites
  • \n

What youll need:

\n
    \n
  • 3+ years experience in Fire & Security engineering
  • \n
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on systems such as:
  • \n
  • Fire alarms (e.g. Morley, Kentec, Advanced, Gent, Protec)
  • \n
  • Access control & door entry (e.g. Paxton, PAC, Videx)
  • \n
  • Good understanding of BS5839 standards
  • \n
  • Experience with PPM, emergency lighting, and system inspections
  • \n
  • Full UK driving licence
  • \n

Bonus skills (desirable):

  • Smoke control / AOV systems experience
  • \n
  • Fire extinguisher servicing
  • \n
  • Experience using CASH or similar systems
  • \n
\n
