\nPertemps are currently recruiting for an experienced Class 2 (Cat C) HIAB Driver to work for a well-established building materials company based in Coalville.\n
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HIAB driver looking for ongoing work, competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a reputable company.\n
\n?? The RoleAs a Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will be responsible for delivering building materials to customers, businesses and construction sites.\n
\nYour duties will include:\n
\n
    \n
  • Driving a Class 2 (Cat C) HGV vehicle
    • \n
  • Operating a HIAB crane to load and unload materials
    • \n
  • Delivering building materials safely and efficiently
    • \n
  • Completing deliveries to customer and construction sites
    • \n
  • Securing loads correctly
    • \n
  • Completing relevant delivery paperwork
    • \n
  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks
    • \n
  • Providing excellent customer service
    • \n
  • Following all Drivers' Hours, WTD and health & safety regulations
    • \n
Tramping is not compulsory, although there may be opportunities for overnight stays for drivers who would like them.\n
\n? RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you will need:\n
\n
    \n
  • Valid Class 2 (Cat C) HGV licence
    • \n
  • Previous HIAB experience
    • \n
  • Valid HIAB qualification/certificate
    • \n
  • Valid CPC
    • \n
  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card
    • \n
  • Good understanding of Drivers' Hours regulations
    • \n
  • Good driving record
    • \n
  • Reliable and professional attitude
    • \n
  • Comfortable with customer-facing deliveries
    • \n
