\nRole Description The Site Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based carrying out projects nationwide.
\nThe person in this role will oversee daily site operations, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure work is carried out in accordance with project plans, safety regulations, and quality standards. Responsibilities include planning workloads, monitoring progress, resolving on-site issues, and maintaining accurate records and reports. The Site Manager will liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, manage materials and equipment, and support health and safety compliance across the site. This role also involves conducting site inspections, implementing risk assessments, and contributing to continuous improvement in site processes and performance.

- Proven experience in site management, construction supervision, or a similar role within surfacing, civil engineering, or related fields. \n
- Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, risk assessments, and safe systems of work on construction sites. \n
- Ability to coordinate teams and subcontractors, manage schedules, and oversee day-to-day site activities. \n
- Competence in reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and project documentation. \n
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, colleagues, and suppliers. \n
- Organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under time constraints. \n
- Basic IT skills, including use of email, spreadsheets, and site reporting tools or apps. \n
- Relevant industry certifications (e.g., SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS card) and a valid driver’s license are highly beneficial. \n
