Blue Arrow is currently recruiting on behalf of one of our well-established industrial clients based in Haddington (EH41). We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Industrial Cleaner to join their team on a full-time basis.

\n The Role\n
\n
\n

As an Industrial Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the packhouse environment. This is a hands-on role involving deep cleaning of machinery, equipment, and facilities to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are consistently met.

\n Key Responsibilities\n
\n
\n

\n
• Clean machinery, equipment, and production areas to required hygiene standards
\n
• Carry out deep cleaning of floors, walls, and surfaces throughout the packhouse
\n
• Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and correctly
\n
• Adhere to PPE requirements at all times
\n
• Complete cleaning records and checklists accurately
\n
• Maintain cleanliness in communal areas including toilets, canteen, and changing rooms
\n
• Keep workstations, walkways, and storage areas clean and free of waste
\n
• Monitor cleaning chemical levels and report shortages
\n
• Report any equipment faults or maintenance issues
\n
• Support general site cleaning duties, including external areas when required
\n
• Follow all health & safety and food hygiene procedures
\n

\n About You\n
\n
\n

\n
• Previous industrial or heavy-duty cleaning experience is preferred
\n
• Good understanding of cleaning chemicals and hygiene practices
\n
• Knowledge of health & safety procedures and PPE requirements
\n
• Able to work independently and maintain high standards
\n
• Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
\n
• Excellent attention to detail
\n
• Must have your own transport due to the location of the site
\n
