As part of their continued growth, they are looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Electrical Supervisor to join their expanding team.Role OverviewThe Senior Electrical Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and supporting electrical installation teams across domestic and commercial EV charging projects. The role will involve carrying out installations of commercial projects, testing and inspection, quality control audits, technical support, site surveys and ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with current regulations and company standards.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement and installation of commercial EV charging projectsSupervise and support installation engineers on-site and remotelyCarry out electrical testing, inspection, and certification of completed worksEnsure all works comply with BS7671, IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment, OZEV requirements and company proceduresConducting site surveys, technical assessments and conveyance reviews where required ensure we are fully compliantCarry out quality control checks and site audits on completed installations, Diagnose electrical faults and provide effective technical solutionsEnsure safe working practices are always followedCompletely sign off all required certifications, job documentation, photographs and reporting accuratelyLiaise with customers professionally and deliver exceptional on-site customer serviceSupport training and mentoring junior engineers and subcontractors, Work closely with the operations and scheduling teams to ensure projects are delivered efficientlyCarry out site surveys for both domestic and commercial projects, Quote and price jobs accurately, identifying new business opportunitiesMaximise profitability and electrician utilisation across the teamSupport the growth of the team in line with wider business growthUse hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment safely and effectivelyMaintain company standards for workmanship, communication, and customer experienceEssential RequirementsNVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671)2391 or 2392 Inspection & Testing qualificationECS Gold CardExperience installing EV chargers across multiple manufacturersAbility to complete electrical testing and certification independentlyExperience with commercial EV infrastructure projectsExperience using certification and job management software systemsExcellent fault-finding and problem-solving skillsStrong communication and organisational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFull UK Driving LicenceHigh attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanshipDesirableFull MCS qualification, Solar PV and Battery storage installation experience, OZEV installer experience, Experience using SafetyCulture or similar safety audit and compliance software, Full DBS check, Experience using ServiceM8 or similar job management systemsBenefitsCompany electric van, EV charger installed at home, EV charging card, Company pension scheme, Annual profit share bonus scheme, Ongoing training and development courses, Career progression opportunities within a growing business, Potential for profit share and directorship opportunity for the right candidate following a 12-month qualifying period, and Company uniform and branded PPE providedTPBN1_UKTJ
