key driver of our successBusiness Development and Marketing ExecutiveThe RoleThe purpose of this role is to provide support to the Business Development, Marketing and Communications team by providing robust administration, coordination and task management across areas such as industry awards and events, client satisfaction, customer feedback, communications, memberships and managing our social value activities within the Southern Region.Key ResponsibilitiesIndustry awardsResearch into and maintain records detailing industry awards to provide useful documents for both looking ahead to future award entries and also prompting current entry discussions.Coordinate meetings to progress written submissions, supporting documents and follow-up judging requirements, such as presentations.Conduct the final submission through the required route e.g. online portal, email etc.Industry eventsMaintain a tracker of upcoming events and as event dates are agreed, distribute the details to those relevant to determine interest in attending.Assist with registrations of events, such as conferences, where required.Coordinate aspects of industry dinner attendance such as invitations to guests, liaison with external event organisers to ensure they have all necessary guest information, hotel bookings etc.Ensure costs are captured for budgetary purposes.Client and customer satisfaction/feedbackCoordinate a monthly client satisfaction feedback process to prompt reviews to be arranged with relevant client contacts when they are due.Log client satisfaction review scores to feed into company KPIs.Capture actions identified during the client satisfaction review process and coordinate discussions regarding follow-up and close-out.Log all end customer/member of public contacts e.g. complaints/praise/enquiries and ensure they are actioned and closed out by those applicable.CommunicationsCreate social media posts to promote attendance at certain events, share social value stories and, in the event that industry awards submissions are successful, share the news internally, on the company website and on social media platforms.Contribute towards the internal Barhale News newsletter through logging of potential content, drafting and proofreading.Assist with the distribution of the external Barhale Today newsletter to client contacts.Help the team to manage the shared communications mailbox.Take part in communications meetings, in particular related to social media and customer communications.Assist with the running of the monthly companywide photography competition.Memberships and accreditationsCarry out monthly and ad hoc processes to keep on top of membership and accreditation renewals.File and update the company website when new membership certificates are obtained.Social valueKeep a log of all social value activities/data for the Southern Region, in order to feed into companywide tracking/reporting.Promote and share details where required, both internally and externally.GeneralParticipate in and keep records of actions coming from AMP9 preparation meetings.Assist with the creation of the monthly board report.Make payments for events, award submissions, charity donations, memberships and accreditations, subscriptions and general invoices etc.About youEssentialExperience of collating information for document compilation and productionHigh standard of written EnglishStrong attention to detailGood communication skills, including professional telephone mannerAbility to liaise with staff/operatives of all levels within the CompanyProficient with Microsoft Office, InDesign a bonusPositive and confident, with drive, enthusaism and passionGood organisational skills with a methodical/systematic approachAbility to work in a
