Quality Assurance Manager

Quality Assurance Manager - M&E Engineering - Birmingham - £400 a day - Ongoing

Our client delivers mechanical, electrical, telecommunication, temporaries and fire engineering expertise and services for large-scale infrastructure projects.

You will carry out the following responsibilities

• The correct materials are being used and have been approved before installation.
\n
• Work is being installed correctly and meets the drawings, specifications and client requirements.
\n
• There are clear checklists and inspection points for the work.
\n
• Problems, defects and snags are identified, recorded and fixed.
\n
• Nothing is signed off until it meets the required standard.
\n
• All the paperwork and evidence is completed correctly.
\n
• There is a clear audit trail showing what was installed, who checked it, when it was checked and whether it passed.
\n
• Outstanding work is chased through to completion.
\n
• The client has confidence that the project has been delivered correctly.
\n
• Quality issues are spotted early rather than becoming expensive problems later.
\n

Essential Qualifications

Electrical / mechanical / Comms installation qualifications

HND/ NVQ/ CQI or equivalent
