The Role

As an English Teacher, you will:

• Deliver engaging and creative English Language and Literature lessons across KS3 and KS4
\n
• Inspire students to develop confidence in reading, writing and communication
\n
• Foster strong analytical, critical thinking and literacy skills
\n
• Plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of learners of varying abilities
\n
• Assess and monitor student progress, implementing strategies to support achievement
\n
• Contribute positively to the wider school and department community
\n

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for teachers who:

• Hold QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
\n
• Have experience teaching English Language and Literature within UK secondary schools
\n
• Demonstrate excellent subject knowledge and classroom management skills
\n
• Are passionate about promoting a love of English and literature
\n
• Have high expectations for student achievement and behaviour
\n
• Can build effective relationships with students, colleagues and parents
\n
