On-Train Ticket Examiner
📍 Location: Glasgow Central
\n💰 Salary: 14,171 per year (on completion of training)
\n📚 Training: 7-day commercial training + 2-day induction
\n📄 Contract: Permanent | Part-time (15 hours per week)
\n⏰ Shifts: Various, including weekends
\nEarliest start: 05:40 | Latest finish: 22:00

\n What You'll Do\n
\n

- Be the face of the organisation for passengers-creating a safe, welcoming experience. \n
- Check and issue tickets, handle cash and card transactions accurately. \n
- Patrol trains, manage busy conditions, and assist with customer queries. \n
- Support passengers with disabilities, including using a portable ramp (up to 15kg) when required. \n

- Confidence to handle challenges and resolve conflicts positively. \n
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently. \n
- Cash handling and customer-facing experience is desirable-but full training provided. \n
