\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our Design team and support the delivery of engineering projects through the production of electrical designs, drawings and technical documentation.\n
\nYou will be joining a collaborative team, working across projects involving LV and HV electrical networks, power generation and distribution systems, as well as supporting the Projects, Sales and Service departments.\n

The Role\n
\nAs an Electrical Design Engineer, you will design and develop LV and HV electrical networks, power generation and distribution systems, as well as DC systems for BESS projects.\n
\nYou will produce electrical designs and technical documentation, develop LV/HV protection schemes, undertake cable sizing and prepare specifications for switchboards, transformers and other electrical equipment.\n
\nWorking closely with colleagues, clients, DNOs and suppliers, you will support multi-discipline projects, helping to maintain the timely flow of technical information and carrying out site visits to support design progress and as-built updates.\n
About You\n
\nTo be considered as an Electrical Design Engineer, you will need:\n
\n- To hold a City & Guilds Level HND - Electrical Engineering\n
\n- To have a minimum of 5 years experience within a construction or engineering background\n
\n- To have proficiency in AutoCAD, with experience using it to produce accurate electrical drawings\n
\n- To have demonstrable experience with Trimble / Amtech\n
\n- To have effective IT skills and competence in the use of Microsoft Office Packages\n
\n- To hold a full current driving licence\n
\nHours of Work: 8:30AM - 5:00PM Mon - Thurs & 8:30AM - 4:00PM Friday.\n
\nOther organisations may call this role Electrical Engineer, Power Systems Engineer, Electrical Systems Engineer, LV/HV Design Engineer, or Electrical Power Systems Engineer.\n
