Full-TimeAcademics Educational Recruitment are looking for a caring, patient and dedicated 1:1 Support Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Brighouse from September.This is a rewarding opportunity to provide individualised support to a Reception-aged girl who has partial seizures and global developmental delay .?? ABOUT THE ROLEWorking closely with the child and school team, you will provide support with:?? Emotional wellbeing and reassurance?? Helping her feel safe, settled and confident in the school environment?? Supporting her learning and development????? Providing mobility support when required?? Encouraging independence and positive relationships?? Offering calm and reassuring support following episodes of partial seizuresPaediatric First Aid training will be provided. Experience of seizures is helpful but not essential - the support required following her partial seizures is primarily about providing comfort, reassurance and a calm presence , alongside following the school's agreed procedures.?? ? ??
