EC&I TechnicianUp to £52,000 plus benefitsMilton KeynesMC Technical Recruitment are partnered with a leading provider of energy from waste in Milton Keynes, seeking an Electrical Controls & Instrumentation Technician to join their team. Working on a Monday to Friday, early, day & late shift basis, the EC&I Technician will carry out planned & preventative maintenance across the entire power generation & recycling facilities.As the EC&I Technician, you will be responsible for:Carry out planned & reactive maintenance on process plantInvestigating & rectifying electrical faults to minimise plant downtimeSupporting the operations team in daily maintenance activitiesResponding to breakdowns to ensure continuous operationsRecommend plant spares & repairs to Maintenance managerAssist the maintenance manager with statutory inspectionsLiaise with operations team regarding fault finding & modification to process equipmentWorking on a days basis to support operations across the siteAny other duties as requiredTo be considered for this role you should have:A relevant engineering qualified (HNC/NVQ/Apprenticeship etc.)Proven experience in EfW or relevant sector (Biomass / CCGT / energy from waste / Water)Experience troubleshooting, fault finding & rectifying problems on DCS, SCADA and PLCsElectrical maintenance experience on motors, switchgear, VSDs, control panels, etc.Knowledge of all Health, Safety & Environmental legislation & safe systems of work, RAMS, permit to work, etc.This is a permanent position based in Milton Keynes; due to the on call rota, you will need a full UK driving licence to access the site.The offer:Up to £52,000PensionBonusHolidaysLife assuranceTo Apply:If you are interested in this opportunity, please contact Matt George at MC Technical Recruitment with your CV or call on 07414220177 for a confidential chat.TPBN1_UKTJ
