Cleaner

Hays are recruiting for a Part-Time Cleaner to work at HMP Haverigg, near Millom, Cumbria.This is a long-term temporary position, offering consistent hours and a stable working environment within a secure public sector facility.

The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic environment across designated areas of the prison estate.Duties will include:

• General cleaning of offices, communal areas and welfare facilities
\n
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming
\n
• Dusting and sanitising touch points
\n
• Washroom and welfare cleaning
\n
• Waste removal and disposal
\n
• Ensuring cleaning standards are maintained throughout the site
\n
• Following all health and safety procedures
\n

Working Hours

Monday to Friday 4 Hours Per Day Part-Time Position Long-Term Temporary Position Consistent Working Pattern

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning or housekeeping experience
\n
• Reliable and punctual approach
\n
• Ability to work independently
\n
• Awareness of health and safety procedures
\n
• Ability to pass prison security clearance
\n
