We are working with a number of secondary schools across Croydon seeking reliable and enthusiastic Supply Teachers and Cover Supervisors to support their schools on a daily, short-term and long-term basis from September.

This is an excellent opportunity for qualified teachers seeking flexible work, graduates considering a career in education, experienced Cover Supervisors, or professionals with transferable skills from youth work, coaching or training backgrounds.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher / Cover Supervisor, you will:

• Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of the regular classroom teacher
\n
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
\n
• Ensure students remain engaged and on task throughout lessons
\n
• Provide support across a range of subject areas
\n
• Follow school policies and procedures effectively
\n
• Build positive relationships with students and staff
\n
• Adapt confidently to different school environments
\n

No planning or marking is required for most Cover Supervisor roles.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for individuals who:

• Have experience working with young people in an educational, coaching, mentoring or support capacity
\n
• Possess strong communication and classroom management skills
\n
• Are confident leading groups of students
\n
• Can adapt quickly to new environments
\n
• Are professional, reliable and organised
\n
• Have a genuine interest in education and supporting student success
\n

Qualified Teachers, ECTs, Cover Supervisors, Teaching Assistants, Graduates, Sports Coaches and Youth Workers are all encouraged to apply.
