Location - Stockport (SK8)

Pay - £95-£110 per day, depending on experience

Start Date - 03/09/2026

Contract - Temp to Perm

Are you a kind and compassionate support worker, seeking a new role?? We are currently working with a large SEN provision in Stockport to recruit support workers to join their team from September, on a temp to perm basis.

\n

The school is a specialist college, that supports pupils aged between 19-25, with complex needs.

\n

As a Support Worker, you will:

\n
    \n
  • Support pupils on a 1:1 or small group basis, providing both sensory and emotional support
  • \n
  • Maintain regular communication with parents, staff and external agencies (where necessary) to monitor progress and development
  • \n
  • Prepare fun and engaging learning resources
  • \n
\n

What we are looking for:

\n
    \n
  • Up to date safeguarding training within the last year (desired but trainigng can be provided)
  • \n
  • Any personal or professional experience supporting complex needs
  • \n
  • Team Teach training is desired but trainng can be provided
  • \n
\n

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

    \n
  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • \n
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • \n
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
  • \n
\n
