Location: London / Hybrid (1–3 days in the office in central London)

Contract: 9-month FTC

Salary: £30,000–£32,000

MLC Partners are supporting an education organisation recruiting a Digital Coordinator to join their Digital & Marketing team. This is a busy, hands-on role supporting a major website project, working across content, testing and coordination to ensure the organisation’s digital presence is accurate, engaging and ready for its audience.

The role:

\n

You will play a key role in supporting the delivery and ongoing development of a new website, working closely with colleagues across the organisation as well as an external agency. The role will suit someone who enjoys getting into the detail, is comfortable working within a CMS and can confidently support colleagues with varying levels of digital expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery and ongoing development of a new organisation-wide website.
  • \n
  • Coordinate colleagues across the organisation to ensure pages and content are uploaded into the CMS accurately and on time.
  • \n
  • Create, edit and review website content, ensuring it is clear, engaging and appropriate for a public-facing audience.
  • \n
  • Test website pages, functionality and user journeys, identifying issues and ensuring a high-quality user experience.
  • \n
  • Carry out detailed quality assurance checks, including proofreading, formatting and reviewing content before publication.
  • \n
  • Monitor deadlines and follow up with stakeholders to keep website activity and content updates on track.
  • \n
  • Provide first-line support for website and CMS queries, triaging technical issues and escalating to the appropriate team or external agency where required.

About you:

  • Previous experience in a digital, website, content or similar coordination role.
  • \n
  • Comfortable working within the back end of a website or CMS and managing digital content.
  • \n
  • Exceptional attention to detail, with a thorough approach to proofreading and quality assurance.
  • \n
  • A strong eye for engaging, well-presented content and an understanding of what makes an effective public-facing website.
  • \n
  • A confident and approachable communicator who enjoys supporting colleagues who may not be digitally or technically experienced.
  • \n
  • Highly organised, proactive and comfortable coordinating multiple stakeholders and deadlines within a busy environment.
