Electronics Assembly Operative Tattenhall, Cheshire (CH3 area) | £25,389 per annum | Every other Friday off | Private Healthcare | Annual Bonus | Employee Ownership SchemeMeridian Business Support are recruiting on behalf of a successful technology manufacturing business in the Tattenhall area for an Electronics Assembly Operative . Candidates with an interest in PCs, gaming hardware, graphics cards, electronics or engineering are particularly encouraged to apply.As an Electronics Assembly Operative , you will help manufacture specialist products used within industrial environments, following detailed instructions and quality procedures.Key responsibilities include:Building and assembling electronic sensors and componentsSoldering wires and attaching cables to productsUsing adhesives and specialist equipment during the manufacturing processCarrying out assembly, testing and inspection activities to quality standardsReading and following technical drawings and work instructionsDeploying software and completing functional product testingRecording faults and production information using internal computer systemsUsing hand tools safely and accuratelyMaintaining excellent housekeeping and health and safety standardsSupporting continuous improvement activities within the manufacturing teamInitially, training will focus on building sensors for the high-voltage industry, including soldering, wiring, bonding components, curing products in specialist ovens and final labelling before testing and inspection.Working Hours: This Electronics Assembly Operative role operates on a two-week rota:Week 1Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 4:30pmFriday: 7:30am to 12:30pmWeek 2Monday to Thursday: 7:30am to 5:00pmFriday: OffThis means you'll enjoy a three-day weekend every other week.To be successful as an Electronics Assembly Operative , you will ideally have:Good manual dexterity and attention to detailBasic IT literacy and confidence using computer systemsExperience using hand toolsA reliable, hardworking and respectful approachA genuine willingness to learn new skills and be part of a close-knit teamOwn transport due to the locationPrevious experience in manufacturing, production, soldering, cable assembly, wiring, electronics, engineering, quality inspection, assembly technician or test technician roles would be beneficial but is not essential.
