Part Time Payroll & Benefits ManagerPermanentSalary: up to £30,000 (3 days per week / £50,000 FTE) + discretionary bonusWorking Pattern: Part-time - 3 days per week (9:00am-5:00pm)Location: London Hybrid working - 2 days a weekOakleaf Partnership are working with a highly respected financial services organisation to recruit a Payroll & Benefits Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to join a close-knit and collaborative HR team, taking ownership of the payroll and benefits function for approximately 400 UK-based employees.Reporting into the HR leadership team, you'll be the sole payroll specialist, managing the end-to-end monthly payroll alongside the administration of a comprehensive employee benefits offering. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business renowned for its supportive culture, excellent offices and friendly working environment.Working closely with colleagues across HR, Finance and the wider business, you'll play a key role in ensuring payroll is delivered accurately and efficiently while continually improving processes through a newly implemented HR and payroll system.ResponsibilitiesTake ownership of the end-to-end monthly payroll for approximately 340 UK-based employees.Act as the main point of contact for all payroll and benefits queries across the business.Manage payroll administration through the integrated HR and payroll system, ensuring all payroll data is accurate and compliant.Administer the full employee benefits portfolio, including private medical insurance, life assurance, season ticket loans, cycle to work and electric vehicle salary sacrifice schemes.Liaise with external benefit providers and brokers to ensure benefits are administered efficiently.Manage year-end payroll activities, including P60s, P11Ds and statutory reporting.Support annual salary and bonus review processes.Reconcile payroll data and work closely with Finance to ensure payroll accuracy.Produce payroll and reward reporting, including salary benchmarking and Gender Pay Gap reporting.Support ongoing payroll, benefits and HR systems improvement projects.Skills & ExperienceProven experience managing end-to-end UK payroll.Previous experience administering employee benefits.Background within financial services or professional services is essential.Experience working within an HR team would be beneficial, providing exposure to wider people processes.Strong understanding of UK payroll legislation and compliance requirements.Excellent Excel skills and confidence working with HR and payroll systems.
