About Us\nKier Mechanical & Electrical (KME) is a leading internal MEP self-delivery design and build business within the Kier group. We support regional businesses across the UK and engage in strategic projects. With full design, construction, and commissioning capabilities, we operate across core sectors including Custodial, Commercial, Health & Science.
Your Role\nAs an Electrical Project Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our projects meet specifications, stay within budget, and adhere to timelines. You’ll collaborate with talented project teams to deliver safe and efficient electrical engineering solutions. Here’s what you’ll be responsible for:

- Safety First: Ensure all works are procured, planned, and executed safely in accordance with Kier standards and UK law. \n
- Design Review: Collaborate with design teams and clients to optimize designs for efficient and safe construction. \n
- Change Control: Manage robust change control procedures and implement quality control measures. \n
- Leadership: Provide guidance and support to project team members within your area of responsibility. \n
- Risk Management: Contribute to identifying project risks and opportunities, supporting mitigation and enhancement. \n
This role is perfect for you if:

- You have a strong technical background in Electrical Services and safety, holding a relevant industry-accredited qualification. \n
- You possess CSCS and SMSTS accreditation as a minimum. \n
- You have experience working collaboratively within project teams to achieve successful outcomes. \n
- You can understand budgets and commercial priorities, making sound decisions based on clear criteria. \n
