Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality EngineerContract: PermanentSalary: £35,000 - £40,000 p.a.Working hours: Monday Friday (8:00am 16:00pm)Due to continued growth Im currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer to work with a well-established engineering company based near Halesowen. As the Quality Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring products and processes comply with customer and legal requirements and expectations.Duties of the Quality Engineer:Ensuring AS9100 & ISO9001 quality standards are maintainedAssisting with external customer and national accredited auditsRoutinely audit existing internal processes for complianceChairing problem solving workshopsSupporting the wider quality department with internal quality issuesWork with operators to ensure compliance of productsRecord any process of product deviations and act upon themThe successful candidate for the Quality Engineers position will have the following experience:3 5 years experience working as a Quality Engineer (Essential)Experience working to AS9100 quality standards (Essential)Working knowledge of 8Ds, PFMEAs, & APQP (Essential)Ability to conduct audits (Desirable)Due to the high number of applications we receive, we are sometimes not able to respond directly to each candidate.
