Site Engineer - Civils / HighwaysLocation: North East Salary: Up to £50,000 dependent on experience Additional: Car allowance / Company vehicle Package: Healthcare plan, pension scheme and holiday allowance (26 days + BH)Linsco are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established and forward-thinking civil engineering contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering civils and infrastructure projects.Due to continued success and a strong pipeline of secured work across multiple frameworks, they are looking for motivated and experienced Site Engineers to join their growing team in the North East region.This is a long-term opportunity to join a privately owned, people-focused business delivering a wide range of civil engineering and local highways projects.The RoleAs a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civils and highways schemes, supporting site teams with setting out, quality assurance, technical compliance, and day-to-day engineering duties.Typical projects include (but are not limited to):Local highways improvementsJunction upgradesCycleway schemesPublic realm worksUtilities worksYou will work closely with Site Agents, Project Managers and subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately, on time and to the highest quality standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out setting out and surveying duties on siteEnsure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications and quality standardsProduce and maintain accurate site records and as-built informationSupport the management of subcontractors and site operationsAssist with planning, progress reporting and technical problem solvingEnsure compliance with health and safety procedures and company standardsLiaise with clients, design teams and stakeholders where requiredSupport quality assurance and inspection processes throughout deliveryRequirementsPrevious experience as a Site Engineer within civils / infrastructure projectsStrong background in highways, groundworks or local authority schemesCompetent with setting out equipment and interpreting technical drawingsDegree/HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferredCSCS CardSMSTS or SSSTS desirableFirst Aid at Work desirableFull UK driving licenceWhat's on offerSalary up to £50k depending on experienceCompany car or car allowance26 days holiday + bank holidaysPension contributionLong-term, stable work secured through major frameworksOngoing training and development opportunitiesA supportive, people-focused culture within a privately owned businessAward-winning processes designed to help you succeed and progressApplicationsIf you feel that you have the relevant experience to be successful in this position and would like to find out more, please apply online today, attaching a copy of your current CV.Due to the vast number of applications that we receive, it is not possible for us to contact all applicants; therefore, only suitable candidates will be contacted.
