We are recruiting on behalf of a leading facilities management provider operating within a secure environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Plumber to join a well-established team at HMP Styal on a temporary-to-permanent basis.

Your New Role

As a Maintenance Plumber, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance across the site. Working within a team of maintenance professionals, you will ensure that plumbing systems and associated building services are maintained safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include:

\n
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive plumbing repairs
\n
• Maintenance of water systems, sanitary ware and associated pipework
\n
• Fault-finding and diagnosis of plumbing issues
\n
• Installation and replacement of plumbing components and fixtures
\n
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety and water hygiene regulations
\n
• Supporting wider maintenance activities where required
\n
• Participation in the 1-in-3 weekend rota
\n

What You'll Need to Succeed

\n
• NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
\n
• Previous experience in a maintenance environment
\n
• Experience undertaking both reactive and planned works
\n
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures
\n
• Full UK driving licence is desirable
\n
