Cardiothoracic Radiology position at UPMC in Pittsburgh, PA
Job Description
Our organization is seeking full-time, on-site Radiologists to join the Cardiothoracic Imaging Division. This division specializes in interpreting chest X-rays, thoracic CT and MRI scans, as well as cardiovascular MRI and CT, covering a wide range of pathologies. The division is primarily based at a Level I Regional Resource Trauma Center, which is also a prominent referral center in the region.
This facility has consistently been recognized in the US News and World Report's Honor Roll and is a leading institution for organ transplantation, cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, neurosurgery, and critical care medicine, including trauma services. Faculty members from the division also rotate through another local hospital.
Qualifications- MD degree or equivalent is required.
- Must be board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology.
- Eligibility for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania is necessary.
- Subspecialty fellowship training and experience in Thoracic and Cardiac Imaging are essential.
The role encompasses a combination of clinical, administrative, research, and educational duties. Experience in research and a history of funding are also preferred.
