Job Description
Exciting contract opportunity for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is available for the 2026/2027 school year. This position begins September 1st and runs through the end of the academic year. Work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 3:00 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. This role supports students in grades 1–8 and is perfect for a dedicated professional looking to make a positive difference within a school environment near Upper Darby, PA.
Qualifications:
- Current certification as a BCBA
- Experience providing ABA services in school or pediatric settings
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and staff
- Ability to assess and develop individualized behavior intervention plans
- Previous experience managing a diverse caseload, preferably grades 1–8
- Commitment to upholding ethical standards and best practices in behavioral analysis
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct functional behavior assessments for students in grades 1–8
- Develop, implement, and monitor effective behavior intervention plans
- Train and support school staff on ABA strategies and protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers and school psychologists
- Collect, analyze, and report student data to inform ongoing interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and help develop individualized educational goals
- Consult with parents and guardians to support student progress at home and in school
