Teacher's Aide - Denver, Colorado

As a valued member of a specialized program, you’ll have the flexibility to work across various school sites and age groups, adapting to the unique needs of each assignment. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting student development and contributing to a positive school environment.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Demonstrated experience as a Paraprofessional, particularly in school settings
• Robust behavioral management background is essential
• Full comfort with significant or severe student caseloads (strongly preferred)
• Immediate availability for contract period from August 11 through May 21, 2027
• Ability and willingness to provide hands-on assistance, including toileting and diapering support as needed
• Reliable personal transportation
• Punctuality, with the ability to report as early as 7:40am for elementary and 8:00am for middle/high schools
• Flexibility for possible reassignment among sites and age groups
• Completion of two professional RefAssured references for consideration
• Ability to pass required fingerprinting/background checks, with no felony or misdemeanor charges

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with education staff to support individual and group instruction
• Assist students in managing behaviors and accessing educational opportunities
• Adapt to changing assignments and contribute to a cohesive, team-oriented environment
• Ensure the physical well-being of students, including personal care tasks when required
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude throughout varied assignments
