PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assessment of patient health status through physical exam reviews patient history, diagnostic tests and procedures, and review labs and other critical data.

Assess, diagnose, treat, perform routine physicals
\n - \n
Determines patient and family needs during initial assessment, provides services in accordance with hospital and clinic health services policies.
\n - \n
Consults with collaborating physician when needed regarding treatment plan
\n - \n
Recognizes and identifies life threatening situations, responding with immediate action according to protocol
\n - \n
24/7 Midwifery call model (Q5 call Model)
\n - \n
Provider patient care in the clinic setting and Labor & Delivery
\n - \n
2+ Years of Experience Salary $163,165
\n - \n
0-2 Years of Experience Salary $149,658

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

Certified Nurse Midwife - must have successfully completed undergraduate and Master's level-nursing programs from an accredited school of nursing and passed state boards.
\n - \n
Minimum 5+ years of clinically relevant Certified Nurse Midwife experience
\n - \n
Certified Nurse Midwife: Current, valid State of Colorado license
\n - \n
National Nurse Practitioner certification by either:
\n - \n
the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or
\n - \n
the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or become certified within five (5) years of completion of master's degree.

And, as applicable:

the National Certification Corporation (NCC)
\n - \n
American Heart Association certifications: BLS
