Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting elementary students through a vibrant start to the school year! This assignment is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is passionate about making a difference in a school setting. You’ll serve as a substitute for an SLP on FMLA, covering from August 10th through the end of October.

You’ll have the added benefit of a dedicated Speech-Language Assistant (SLA), ensuring teamwork even with a larger caseload of 117 students. If you prefer to work remotely, there is flexibility to consider virtual (VOCO) arrangements for the right candidate.
Key Qualifications:
- Current SLP license, CCC certification, and prior experience in a school setting
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively with the support of an SLA
- Strong communication, organization, and report-writing skills
- Comfort with elementary-age students and collaborating with education staff
- Flexibility to work on-site or in a virtual (VOCO) format, if needed
Responsibilities Include:
- Covering SLP responsibilities for the first 12 weeks of school due to FMLA
- Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services to students in two elementary buildings
- Collaborating with fellow educators, administrators, and families
- Providing assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and documenting progress
- Partnering closely with an SLA to ensure continuity of care
