This assignment is ideal for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and is passionate about making a difference in a school setting. You’ll serve as a substitute for an SLP on FMLA, covering from August 10th through the end of October.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP license, CCC certification, and prior experience in a school setting
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively with the support of an SLA
• Strong communication, organization, and report-writing skills
• Comfort with elementary-age students and collaborating with education staff
• Flexibility to work on-site or in a virtual (VOCO) format, if needed

Responsibilities Include:

• Covering SLP responsibilities for the first 12 weeks of school due to FMLA
• Delivering direct and indirect speech-language services to students in two elementary buildings

• Providing assessments, developing and implementing IEPs, and documenting progress
