Occupational Therapist School Setting in Hampstead, NC

Starting August 18, 2026, and running through June 9, 2027, you’ll provide essential services across 2-4 campuses, working with a diverse group of elementary, middle, and high school students. Enjoy a consistent schedule of at least 35 hours per week, with the potential to extend your hours up to 40.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Occupational Therapist license, with eligibility to practice in North Carolina
• Previous experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred
• Solid understanding of IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and school teams
• Adaptability to work with multiple age groups and travel between school sites as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to address students’ sensory, motor, and functional needs
• Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
• Deliver both direct and consultative occupational therapy services to help students access their educational environment
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expertise and updates on student progress
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support academic achievement
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation per school and state requirements
