Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving Pre-K through Elementary students across three schools near Everett, WA. This assignment offers variety, purpose, and professional growth as you collaborate with dedicated educators to provide essential occupational therapy services for the 2026 academic year, from September through mid-June in Marysville, WA. Your schedule will be designed once the school year begins, ensuring an ideal balance to meet student needs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certificate in Occupational Therapy (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Understanding of child development and a variety of learning styles
  • Familiarity with implicit bias, anti-racist practices, and culturally responsive teaching
  • Experience or knowledge in trauma-informed educational practices
  • Competence supporting whole child needs at Tier 1, 2, and 3
  • Comfort with district, state, and federal regulations including confidentiality, special education law, and reporting requirements
  • Training or willingness to be trained in restraint and aversive interventions

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to Pre-K and Elementary students across three school sites
  • Actively contribute to planning, implementing, and refining both individual IEPs and the broader OT program
  • Participate in equity, trauma-informed, and behavioral support initiatives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster student success in diverse and inclusive settings
  • Maintain clear, compliant, and confidential documentation per all school, district, and legal standards
