Multiple full-time positions are available to support students and teams at various sites within a caring, collaborative community dedicated to inclusive education.

Openings include:

  • Special Education Assessment Teacher (district-wide): Lead comprehensive evaluations, eligibility meetings, and IEP case management with a strong team atmosphere.
  • Special Education Teacher – Setting III/IV (High School Restore Program): Guide and inspire students with significant emotional, behavioral, and academic needs in a therapeutic environment.
  • Elementary ASD Center-Based Special Education Teachers (multiple openings): Support elementary students in a structured ASD program, using innovative strategies and close collaboration.

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Special Education (or related field)
  • Active Minnesota PELSB Special Education license, or eligibility by reciprocity
  • Proven experience developing and managing IEPs, with strong documentation and progress monitoring skills
  • Depth in one or more of the following areas: Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Emotional/Behavioral Disorders (EBD), Setting III/IV classrooms, FBA/BIPs, PBIS, MTSS, trauma-informed practices, and special education assessments
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and case management abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and deliver specially designed instruction
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
  • Implement behavior management and intervention strategies
  • Maintain compliance with IDEA and Minnesota Special Education standards
  • Foster inclusive and supportive classroom environments
