Position Highlights:
- Full-time, 40 hours per week contract role
- Elementary school caseload
- Immediate start, position runs through the end of the school year

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to ensure each student’s learning goals are met
- Deliver engaging, differentiated instruction to accommodate varied student needs
- Modify curriculum and classroom activities as required for accessibility
- Track student progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Partner with general education teachers for inclusive practices and collaborative planning
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians about student progress and strategies for support
- Participate in IEP meetings, team planning sessions, and professional development activities
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
- State certification in Special Education (or eligibility)
- Previous experience working with elementary-aged students in a special education setting highly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and compliance requirements
- Ability to adapt to varying student needs and learning styles
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills
