Nuclear Medicine Division

Our organization is seeking applications for a faculty position in nuclear medicine. The Nuclear Medicine Division offers a comprehensive array of clinical and research activities, supported by cutting-edge facilities and a team of highly skilled faculty members dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care, education, and research opportunities. This division provides extensive diagnostic and radiopharmaceutical therapy services to five primary hospitals in Pittsburgh, including the Hillman Cancer Center, along with additional imaging services throughout the UPMC network.

Qualifications

  • Applicants must possess an MD degree or its equivalent.

  • Board eligibility or certification from the American Board of Radiology and/or the American Board of Nuclear Medicine is required.

  • Candidates must be eligible for unrestricted licensure in Pennsylvania and have completed a Nuclear Medicine fellowship as necessary for ABR eligibility or certification.

  • We also provide a substantial amount of radionuclide therapies, including Pluvicto and Lutathera, as well as non-FDA approved therapies through clinical trial participation.

  • Additionally, we offer dedicated didactic and clinical training to residents in our ACGME accredited Diagnostic Radiology program and a specialized PET/CT fellowship.
