Position OverviewWe are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Cardiac Telemetry Medsurg to work full-time during day or night shifts at our Cobb hospital. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Key Responsibilities- Actively participate as a member of an interdisciplinary team, providing individualized, high-quality, and safe patient care.
- Utilize the Nursing Process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation) to deliver clinical care based on evidence-based practices.
- Deliver patient-centered care that respects population-specific characteristics, adapting service delivery to acknowledge cultural diversity.
- Conduct bedside shift reports to keep patients and their families informed, ensuring that patient goals are central to the care plan.
- Coordinate the delivery and documentation of safe, quality patient care, fostering teamwork and collaboration within the healthcare team.
- Engage in performance improvement initiatives, supporting research and the utilization of findings to enhance patient care quality.
- Serve as a mentor or preceptor for other nursing professionals and students, promoting a qualified future workforce and a healthy work environment.
- Encourage evidence-based practices and participate in value analysis to evaluate patient care products.
- Adhere to all organizational policies, procedures, and clinical competencies, ensuring compliance with legal and accreditation standards.
- Contribute to data collection and pose relevant clinical questions to advance evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with care managers and team members to develop protocols and procedures aimed at achieving best practice outcomes.
- Follow all organizational policies, standards of work, and the code of conduct.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Diploma in Nursing; a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
- Current RN licensure (Single State or Multi-state Compact).
- Less than one year of experience is acceptable; completion of an accredited nursing program with required clinical hours is mandatory.
- Direct patient care experience is preferred.
