Job Description
PRIMARY DUTIES:
The staff nurse is tasked with delivering nursing care to patients across all stages of life, employing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. This role operates within the guidelines and protocols of the organization, showcasing professional development and accountability. The staff nurse is also responsible for upholding practice standards and coordinating the patient care activities of all assigned personnel to ensure high-quality nursing care.
ESSENTIAL EDUCATION:
Completion of an accredited nursing program.
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE:
New graduates from a nursing program are welcome to apply.
LICENSURE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
A valid Registered Nurse license in the State of Georgia or an NLC/eNLC Multistate License is required.
BLS certification is mandatory.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES:
For PRN roles: A minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital environment is preferred.
A bachelor's degree is advantageous.
Advanced certification in a relevant specialty area is a plus (refer to addendum).
Experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
