Our multi-doctor practice is supported by a dedicated team ofsupport staff that share the passion of providing our clients the best possiblecare through high quality diagnostic tools, treatment and surgery. HiddenValley Animal Hospital has multiple Registered Veterinary Technicians to helpin surgery and treatment, as well as trained and knowledgeable veterinaryassistants on the team.

Job Responsibilities:

\n

· Builds rapport with clients by gathering information and listeningto, and empathizing with their concerns

\n

· Performs physical examinations and diagnostic/medical/surgical/dentalprocedures that deliver the highest quality care while minimizing patientstress and discomfort.

\n

· Communicates with clients on topics such as pet diagnosis,treatment plans, preventive health care, and nutritional needs.

\n

· Maintains client/patient medical/surgical records and makescertain all necessary logs are kept up-to-date through established protocols.

\n

· Stays current on new medical information and changes in veterinarymedicine.

\n

· Assists in the development of the paraprofessional team to ensuredelivery of the highest quality care and exceptional client service.

\n

· Presents a positive image of the hospital in the professionalcommunity and to the general public.

\n

Skills andQualifications:

\n

\n
    \n
  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or related degree from anaccredited university
  • \n
  • Licensure in good standing to practice in the state of NorthCarolina
  • \n
  • Commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine andupholding veterinary code of ethics
  • \n
  • 2+ years of experience in a general practice setting
  • \n
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • \n
  • Ability to collaboratively work with hospital team members
  • \n
  • Makes decisions confidently and effectively
  • \n
  • Manages time and tasks appropriately
  • \n
  • Models a professional and courteous manner with staff and clients
  • \n
  • Commitment to ongoing educational development and growth
  • \n
