Employment Opportunity Details:

\n

• Above average base salary, retention bonus, performance/metric bonus and option for additional shift work for pay

\n

• Hearty sign on bonus and relocation eligible

\n

• Occurrence Based Malpractice coverage

\n

• All cardiopulmonary bypass cases are done with solo cardiac anesthesiologist.

\n

• Adult Cardiac Cases including: cardiopulmonary bypass, mitral valves, DaVinci thoracotomies, thoracotomies, TAVR, SAVR and vascular cases including: abdominal aortic aneurysm, aortic endograft, vascular bypassing (*list not comprehensive)

\n

• Familiarity with Transesophageal Echocardiography is required.

\n

• Call will be equitably distributed among call takers. The week is taken 1 week at a time with very rare callback or work past 3pm. Call is taken from home, in house not required.

\n

• No OB! • 8 weeks' vacation/PTO

\n

• Practice solo (60%) or Medical Direction of general cases (40%), with ideal of 1:3 coverage, some 1:2, rare 1:4

\n

• Peripheral Nerve Blocks are a must with strong Ultrasound regional skills required • Patient draw base of over 500K

\n

• Level 3 trauma center

\n

• Wide variety of cases- almost all except major trauma and transplant!

\n

• Wide variety of ages: peds (healthy) 6mo and up!

\n

Qualifications:

\n

• BC/BE, ACLS, BLS

\n

• MD/DO Indiana License or eligible

\n

• Excellent communication skills

\n
