Job Description
Mercy Health – Tiffin is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join our well-established cardiology practice. This is an outstanding opportunity to step into an existing patient panel while continuing to grow the practice by welcoming new patients. - Collaborative practice with:\n

- One Cardiologist \n
- Two experienced Nurse Practitioners \n
- Dedicated clinical and administrative support staff \n
\n - Blend of outpatient and inpatient responsibilities based on experience:\n
- \n
- Approximately 75% outpatient \n
- Approximately 25% inpatient \n
\n
- \n
- Monday-Friday schedule \n
- Office hours: 8:00 AM-4:00 PM \n
- Shared after-hours call: 15 days per month \n
- Average outpatient volume: 16-20 patients per day \n
- Manage your own patient panel while collaborating closely with the cardiology team \n
The Interventional Cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiovascular care with a strong emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered treatment. Responsibilities include:

- Diagnose and manage patients with cardiovascular disease \n
- Perform coronary and peripheral interventional procedures \n
- Interpret diagnostic cardiovascular testing \n
- Perform and oversee:\n
- \n
- Electrocardiograms (EKGs) \n
- Holter monitor interpretation \n
- Pacemaker evaluations and device checks \n
\n - Develop individualized treatment plans for both acute and chronic cardiac conditions \n
- Coordinate care with primary care physicians, hospitalists, advanced practice providers, and specialists \n
- Participate in inpatient consultations and hospital rounding as needed \n
- Participate in the shared call schedule to ensure continuity of patient care \n
- \n
- MD or DO \n
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease \n
- Fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology \n
- Eligible for an unrestricted Ohio medical license \n
- Strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and patient-centered care \n
- New graduates and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply \n
