Qualifications and Experience Sought:

  • Active certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting, preferred but not required
  • Strong understanding of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA)
  • Skill in developing, implementing, and monitoring behavior intervention plans
  • Ability to foster communication with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student success

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop behavioral supports and interventions tailored to individual students
  • Support district goals focused on improving the Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) for Students with Disabilities (SWD)
  • Collect and analyze behavioral data to inform programming and intervention adjustments
  • Deliver 1:1 and group behavioral support as needed
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to developing measurable goals for students
  • Provide guidance and coaching to school staff in applying behavioral strategies
