Job Description
A full-time Pharmacist position is available in a retail pharmacy setting located in Altoona, PA. This direct hire opportunity offers the chance to lead a pharmacy department, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations while driving business growth and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include maintaining strong collaboration with store operations and pharmacy associates, conducting thorough Drug Utilization Reviews and Quality Assurance checks, and managing inventory to meet customer needs and maximize profitability. The Pharmacist will oversee training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy staff while ensuring pharmacy security and compliance. Additional duties include addressing customer questions and concerns, liaising with healthcare providers, and maintaining a clean, organized department.
Schedule:

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree
- Current Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Current Pennsylvania Immunization License
- Experience in retail pharmacy preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
