Qualifications & Experience:
- Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Previous experience as a school-based OT strongly preferred
- Comfortable traveling to more than one school location within the district
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of educators, specialists, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services across various school sites within the district
- Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to support students’ participation in academic and functional activities
- Support IEP development and implementation, attending team meetings as needed
- Educate and consult with staff and families regarding strategies for student success
