Pharmacist in Charge in Grove City, OH

Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) to support the establishment of a specialty compounding pharmacy’s NRL permit in select states. The PIC must hold an active pharmacist license in at least one of the following states: California, Illinois, Massachusetts, or Ohio. This role involves oversight and management responsibilities required to fulfill regulatory requirements as the designated PIC.

Location & Schedule:

• Positions available onsite in California and Ohio specialty pharmacy locations
• Hours vary by licensing state:
  • CA, IL, MA License: 30 hours/week (California site)
  • MA, OH License: 30 hours/week (Ohio site)
  • OH, IL License: 8 hours/week (Ohio site)
• Shift hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Duration: 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge to meet state pharmacy board requirements for NRL permit application
• Provide leadership and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for specialty compounding pharmacy operations
• Oversee pharmacy practice activities to maintain quality and safety
• Collaborate with regulatory agencies and management to facilitate permit acquisition

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current pharmacist license in one or more of the following states: CA, IL, MA, or OH
• Willingness to serve as Pharmacist in Charge and maintain license oversight responsibilities
• Experience in specialty compounding or retail pharmacy environments preferred
• Strong understanding of pharmacy regulatory compliance and licensure requirements
