Job Description
The Pediatric Pulmonology Department is actively seeking a Pediatric Pulmonologist to enhance clinical services in the Harrisburg, Pennsylvania region. This opportunity is available through our organization, which includes UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh and UPMC Harrisburg Hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized care in pediatric pulmonology.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
- Engage in clinical research and implement best practices.
- Mentor local providers under the guidance of the division chief and clinical director.
- Completion of a Pediatric Fellowship program.
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Pediatric Pulmonology.
UPMC Children's Harrisburg is a newly renovated pediatric care facility situated within UPMC Harrisburg Hospital. Key features include:
- An 11-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and a general pediatric unit.
- A state-of-the-art Women's and Babies Center along with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Access to 18 pediatric subspecialties, including but not limited to Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Neurology, and more, serving patients across nine counties.
Our pediatric pulmonology division in Central Pennsylvania operates as an extension of the team at UPMC Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, ensuring seamless integration of exceptional care and clinical research.
