OB Hospitalist Physician - Bay Area Opportunity (Castro Valley, CA)

Job Opportunity: OBGYN Physician

Our organization is looking for a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OBGYN physician to become a part of our OB Hospitalist Program at Eden Medical Center, located in Castro Valley, California.

This collaborative, team-oriented program provides continuous in-house obstetric and gynecologic care, with one physician on duty at any given time. This position allows you to engage in hospital-based obstetrics within a nurturing environment, supported by strong specialty resources.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct OB triage, patient assessments, and management
• Attend deliveries and assist in surgical procedures
• Handle emergency Cesarean sections, with trauma surgery support available if necessary
• Provide gynecologic consultations and perform urgent/emergent surgeries
• Monitor fetal health and cover the emergency department for OB/GYN patients

You will collaborate closely with local OBGYNs, maternal-fetal medicine specialists from a nearby sister hospital, and an in-house team that includes pediatric hospitalists, trauma surgeons, anesthesiologists, adult hospitalists, intensivists, and emergency medicine professionals.

Qualifications:

• Possession of an active and unrestricted medical license in California
• Current DEA license
