Working EnvironmentAt our Downey location, we cultivate a culture of teamwork and collaboration, prioritizing safety for both patients and caregivers. Our leadership promotes accessibility and maintains a flat organizational structure, fostering trust between physicians and support staff. Innovation is a key focus; for instance, Downey was the first medical center in the region to perform same-day total joint surgeries. We also strive for efficiency by enhancing workflows throughout the medical center and ancillary offices. Wellness—both physical and mental—is a priority, with regular opportunities for dining, socializing, and exercising together. With a high level of tertiary care, one of the largest NICUs in the area, and a dedicated OB and anesthesia team composed entirely of physicians, Downey excels in serving its diverse and high-risk patient population.
