Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Certification as a Teacher for the Visually Impaired
  • Experience working with school-aged children (preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Comfort with providing direct, in-person home services
  • Flexibility to adapt as caseload increases

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver specialized instruction to one visually impaired student
  • Conduct two in-home sessions per month (1 hour per session)
  • Monitor progress and adapt lessons as needed
  • Document sessions and collaborate with parents/guardians
  • Adjust to an increasing caseload as needed
