Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Florida
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Previous experience in a school setting highly desirable
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
• Ability to develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of speech, language, and communication skills for students
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
• Provide direct and consultative speech and language therapy services
• Document student progress and maintain required records in accordance with district and federal guidelines
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to design and review student support strategies
• Offer guidance and training to teachers and support staff on best practices for communication facilitation in the classroom
