Required Skills & Credentials:
- Valid Minnesota Special Education Certification (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; Master’s preferred
- Previous experience in a school setting or working with students with disabilities is a plus
- Strong knowledge of IEP processes and documentation
- Ability to create adaptive learning plans tailored to individual student needs
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaborative skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with diverse learning needs
- Differentiate instruction and modify curriculum to ensure access to learning for all students
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
- Foster positive relationships with students, families, and other stakeholders
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to federal, state, and district policies
- Engage in ongoing professional development and participate in team meetings
