Make a significant impact by supporting K-8 students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic educational environment. This part-time, contract role offers the opportunity to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while fostering students’ growth and independence.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Current and valid Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Nevada
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in school, home health, or other healthcare settings
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation standards
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills working with students, families, and staff
  • Ability to adapt interventions for a broad age range (K-8th grade)
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and evaluate the needs of K-8 students referred for occupational therapy
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address fine motor, sensory, and functional challenges
  • Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families to support students’ academic participation and daily life skills
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and contribute to IEP meetings as required
  • Utilize both direct and consultative models of service delivery within school settings
  • Provide resources and recommendations for school staff regarding appropriate accommodations
