This opportunity is for a licensed pharmacist to support long-term care pharmacy operations in Eastpointe, MI. The role focuses on ensuring the accuracy and safety of medication dispensing while collaborating with healthcare providers to optimize patient therapy.

• 10:00am – 6:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders and conduct final product checks aligned with federal, state, and company regulations
• Perform drug utilization reviews and address clinical alerts, interactions, and therapy concerns by consulting with prescribers
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold quality standards throughout all pharmacy processes

Qualifications:

• Active, clear pharmacist license in Michigan
• Minimum of 1-year experience in a pharmacist role, ideally with exposure to long-term care pharmacy environments
• Strong knowledge of medication therapies and regulatory requirements
• Proven ability to critically evaluate prescriptions and make sound clinical decisions
